OPTIONS

• 1-day visit to the camps of Ché Guevara, and local museums in Sierra Maestra. Tropical journey with stop for rest and bathing in jungle river. Arranged in conjunction with the sympsium at date that will be announcced (see prel. program).

• Excursion to El Cobre, to Sanctuary of “Our Lady of Charity.

• Paseo de la Alameda, la Bahía.

• Excursión: Gran Piedra-Baconao, playa y almuerzo.

• Visit / participation in Tumba Francesa, a la Conga. Cuban dance and music performance.

• Visit to CityTown Hall for sight-seeing/presentation of historic & present Santiago.

The Cuban national holiday is on July 26th, and the Santiago de Cuba Carnival goes on 22-28 of July.
